Support for Parents

Encourage your teenager to explore a career in construction and become part of an efficient workforce. We provide support to parents, so you can help ensure a successful future and the right education for your teenager.

It’s a parent’s priority for their child to have a fulfilling career. School is the perfect time to start considering career options and helping them acquire the knowledge and skills to transition into an independent and thriving adult. Our team connects parents, students and employers with fully-funded programs and support to find the right pathway.

We offer valuable, educational assistance in the following areas:

These courses are designed to prepare young workers for real-world jobs. In particular, Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs are delivered to secondary students to give them a better understanding of what school subjects and courses offer the best pathway to a career in construction. Your child can also undertake a traineeship or pre-apprentice scholarship during school or as a school leaver.

Expressions of interest are now open. Learn how to apply for a $250 Pre-Apprenticeship Award below.
